Yes they gave me special diving gear and while I did find something down there, it wasn't the right shipwreck. That one apparently disappeared entirely. When everyone talked about the strange teleportation and what it did in its locations, it seemed like that might have been similar. It makes sense they may have had to transport some of you over water at one point.
We couldn't find out more because it wasn't the right ship. I wonder if we can find it in the water near the island if that explains it. But if there is a teleport from there to the island, maybe he got sucked into it or something. This isn't really my forte though.
Interesting. Most portals, as far as I'm aware, require an ongoing spell to keep them open. Teleportation is typically another thing all together, a spell with a single instance that moves an object, rather than presents a doorway. Either way, I wonder whether either spell would remain active when all the acolytes have been removed.
It'd be worth checking around the island we were held, but access to that seems to be caught up in bureaucracy at the moment.
Did you find any traces of magic in the waters when you searched?
Since they all used High Magic I have no idea how any of it was done, probably someone in Solvunn could make guesses. I'm just throwing darts at a wall at this point. I never really got an answer about where that ship went and why a different one was down there.
They're not going to let anyone on that island any time soon. Maybe try in a few months, but that's not soon enough for finding Dean, obviously. And you don't want to draw attention to it.
Nothing that I myself can tell, but my abilities don't really have a detect magic detail.
I've been in contact with some people in Solvunn, I'll inquire after it.
No, I don't imagine we'll have any way to access it soon. Hopefully, each nation had their people do a sweep, so if Dean remained, he'd be pressed to move on quickly.
You were with them, in the desert, weren't you, Jesper? Did you witness the incident with Jo?
I didn't witness it, no, I was trying to keep them all alive alone at the time.
[ Yeah he's still annoyed about it a little bit. It went from a whole team of fighters to him trying to slow down their attackers before they got to the group.]
But I know what happened and I saw her afterward. It was pretty fucked up.
