[ They had been warned about the moons when they first arrived, and so far he hadn’t shown any signs of change during the first two phases of the month. So it wasn’t entirely unexpected to wake up on the 11th feeling different.
Could have been the overwhelming need to pull Jesper’s sleeping form in close and nuzzle against him, or it could have the the wings that seemed to have sprouted from his back overnight, that he didn’t notice until he tried to roll into his back.
He immediately jumped up, his wings unfurling. He turned trying to get a better look at them but that just caused them to swing around as well and smash into the lamp that was sitting on their night stand. He whirled around again at the smash which just caused them to smack into something else knocking it to the ground. ]
